Feeling very warm after dosing my Gleevec/Imatinib every evening....

So new and so many questions....

Does anyone become quite “warm” after taking their gleevec/imatinib dose?  I take it after a good sized dinner.  I also have several other symptoms...but this one hits first....

That is very interesting. I haven't noticed anything like that but there does seem to be quite a range of different reactions among us. It would be worth mentioning to your doctor. I have tried taking my imatinib at different times of day to see how it feels, and have landed on taking it in the morning with a small breakfast and full glass of water. You might try experimenting with different options like that and see if it changes. Good luck!!

Thank you!  I found another group of people who take gleevec and three out of many became warm..from the inside.  Their warmth actually immanated from the biopsy locales....I did tell my doctor...
